Rebellion is one of the world’s most successful independent video games studios but there’s more to them than just games as we also produce books, comics, TV, film, board games and more. The studio makes great games such as the genre-defining Sniper Elite series and Zombie Army, and publish iconic comics including Roy of the Rovers and 2000 AD featuring Judge Dredd. Founded back in 1992 by brothers Jason and Chris Kingsley, Rebellion has grown a reputation for producing high quality products that thrill and delight gamers, readers, viewers and fans around the world. Over the decades they have worked on multiple amazing projects including the likes of Aliens vs Predator and Star Wars Battlefront but since 2010 they have been working, pretty much exclusively, on developing and publishing our own titles and IP. In 2018 the studio opened the multi-million pound Rebellion Film and TV studios in Didcot, releasing their first Rebellion-produced feature film, Schools Out Forever, in 2021. Rebellion also acquired legendary comic imprint 2000 AD in the year 2000, and Solaris books in 2010. Since then they have grown a multi award-winning Rebellion Publishing arm into an international publisher of bestselling Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Horror fiction. Further diversification came in 2020 with the launch of Rebellion Unplugged, a tabletop gaming division. It is hard at work to bring our fantastic IP to a new medium.
